This filter was exactly what I needed. It's sometimes hard to differentiate what filter works with what exact vacuum model...but figuring out what vacuum this filter was compatible with was a breeze. My Eureka sucks up all of my pug's hair off the carpet with ease and now is as loud as a tornado...enough to scare even the likes of Bill Paxton.

You're always taking a bit of a chance buying aftermarket replacement parts that aren't manufactured by the same company. These filters fit our Eureka 431F vacuum just fine.
We had thought we were being diligent in cleaning out the old filter after every time we vacuumed, but when we popped in this replacement, it was like the vacuum was brand new again. Nearly sucked the carpet off the floorboards.
The lower price is quite nice. Don't worry. These work.

This filter is not as easy to remove for cleaning and emptying vacumn as the one that is made by Eureka. It makes it harder and messier to empty the canister. I will probably not purchase these filters again.

I had been to several stores, i.e. Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, military exchange looking for a replacement filter. One place even ordered me a filter that turned out to be the wrong one. This filter replaces original at half the cost of local stores asking price for filters that don't fit. I will buy two more for my daughter. Excellent product
